Thanks to an intelligent new technoclogy it possible to achive the same material strength with under half of the thickness. The technology that replaces wodchips in the chipbaoard core is: paper. Because paper is based on uncut fibers from trees, it adds higher strength at half the thickness

Our designers usually choose compact laminate to emphasize lightness and precision when they compose specific styles - but you can off course match it up as you please.

The unit price is in the middle and it is the highest of the laminates due to the production proces of the highly compressed core.
The costs related to cutting and fitting the material to your kitchen design, as well as the finish however are in low end - and essentially the same as regular laminate.
The thickness - or in reality - the thinness. It is actually rare to see a 12 mm dimension on any woodbased surface, and we encourage you to get a feel first hand. To some it may therefor be an alternative ceramics.

The warranty is the same as all Kvik - worktops: a 5 year warranty. The terms of that warranty is of course clearly explained the warranty documents of your purchase.
A general piece of advice is to never exceed what is normal use in a private kitchen. If you do, you may forfeit you warranty in case of claims case.
Helpful advice may be:
Never ever perform cutting or chopping directly on the worktop. Always use a cutting board.
Never put items to hot hold in the palm of your hand directly on the surface - always use a coaster.
Not at all. There is no maintenance as such and daily cleaning is simply done with a damp cloth.
