4 tips for living a more sustainable life in the kitchen

It's the little things we do every day that really count. We've talked to experts and collected the best things you can do to live a greener life in your kitchen.

1. Use renewable energy

2. Sort your waste

3. Minimise food waste

Buy only what you need and eat everything you buy, it's really that simple. We waste, on average, 173 kg of food per person every year! Plan your meals so that you buy only what you will use. Use your freezer and get creative with your leftovers when you have them. Every little bit helps.

4. Use your dishwasher

Believe it or not, your dishwasher actually uses less water than doing dishes by hand. Just be sure it's full when you run it and use the Eco setting for maximum energy efficiency.
